I’ve enjoyed working with individuals, teams and organizations in a variety of capacities. No two situations have looked exactly the same. There really is no “one size fits all” configuration or offering. If we’re meant to work together, the “how” will appear. Here you’ll find some of the ways we might interact.

Engagement catalyst

Whether for an individual, team or an entire organization, sometimes what’s needed most is a different perspective; to insert someone who asks great questions which, at first seem all but absurd until really considered – usually resulting in an answer which reveals an Invisible Obvious!

Being an engagement catalyst affords me the opportunity to do some of the things I love most – helping others, learning something new (I seem to every time), asking a great, not just good, question… Regardless of the form, the result is generally the same – at least new valuable insights, and often a quantum leap forward.

While this usually takes the form of an Invisible Obvious session, sometimes this works best as a half or full-day visit, regularly scheduled jump-start sessions or just being on call  for when you need a special spark from someone who loves to laugh as they work and will help you out of a messy situation – even if you did create it for yourself.

Super Connector

My LinkedIn page connections are as diverse as the music on my iPod. What happens when you are interconnected across so many circles? Well, for starters, it’s a great way to help others connect – especially those who would likely have no other reason to meet.

Rarely do I meet someone new and really engage in conversation without thinking of someone else I already know who can help them make a leap forward. I take immense pleasure in connecting those folks.

I’m admittedly a bit odd, and I wear it with pride. I see connections in places where others just don’t see them. When I do see them, I do something about it – engage others to discuss it, pull together an impromptu group to explore, or just go dig a bit on the subject.

I also happen to be what I like to call a “braided river” person.  If you are one, you probably already know it. I am interested and passionate about many things. It would appear that I’m a big walking sponge. It all goes back to the interconnectedness of the world in which we live, and just how much I love connecting and aggregating the power of “braided river” people who are knowledgeable and passionate about a variety of things.

And, no, you don’t have to be a braided river person to benefit from working with me. Most people are a bit more topically focused than some of us… but I’ve yet to find anyone who didn’t benefit from a warm introduction to someone who could help them make a quantum leap forward. That’s fun stuff, too!

“Stuck Superstar” Recovery

If you’re a stuck superstar, I’d be honored to visit with you. Please reach out and let’s see if we are a good fit for each other.

Team Tune-up

If you’re part of a team which is no longer (or has yet to) be humming along, I might be able to help. Along with the ability to put people at ease, and to ask the most direct yet non-abrasive questions, I’m oddly talented at getting others to refocus and see the best each member has to bring to the effort.

And, no, I’m not a miracle worker, and, yes, I have recommended a change in the team composition before getting the tune-up completed, so keep those things in mind. If there’s a way to get your team back in the groove, and actually enjoying the work at hand and each other (yes, back to both/and, not either/or), let’s talk.

Please feel free to reach out and let’s see if we are a good fit for each other.
