Not Here to Solve Problems

I’m not in this to solve problems. I’m here to help unearth and build strengths, to connect people and resources in sometimes unorthodox or uncommon ways – to change the world. I believe when we stop looking for ways to identify and solve problems, and instead focus our time and energy on collaboratively describing our ideal future state, we’re headed in the right direction.

That’s not to say things don’t improve. They do. As a matter of fact, they should improve in measurable ways; not just touchy-feely (although that’s important too). My scientifically-trained brain wants data; my human side wants connection. Again, marriage and balance of the head and heart. Trust, but verify.
